Welcome to this experiment in building a Community of Practice composed of researchers, teachers, students, managers, and planners who deal with the topic of water. We hope this community and its associated website can become a resource for everyone who uses or manages water. Although it is not an official tool of the Group on Earth Observations it will be used to provide input to that process and to related programs.

A community of practice involves people "who share a passion about a particular topic." This site is building a community of people who share a passion about water. If you have an interest in water then we welcome your comments and input.
